Not only do we provide comprehensive eye exams, but also Diabetic eye health evaluations. Patients are sometimes first diagnosed with Diabetes by seeing their eye doctor for their annual eye exam. After being diagnosed with diabetes, most doctors will recommend an eye exam with retinal imaging or dilation due to the impact that uncontrolled diabetes can have on the eyes. This is important due to the fact that patients with uncontrolled diabetes are at risk for Diabetic Retinopathy. This condition can lead to permanent visual changes or loss of vision. We will work closely with your primary care doctor or endocrinologist to ensure that your eye health is monitored as well as protected.
